More evidence of bad management on he part of Wilder and an arrogant attitude in that he feels his 1 belt > Joshua's 2 major soon to be 3 major belts (bar an upset).

I don't think Wilder realises what he's done here, if he thought he'd get a raw deal from Hearn before, now he is officially on Hearn's sh*t list and Hearn holds all the cards.

Guess its back to fighting nobodies or unappealing fights for Wilder for the rest of his career?

Seriously it seems like Wilder is dodging Cardiff because he know's he's going to get called out by Whyte, which is legitimate because he's now the WBC no1 contender, but Wilder is basically thinking only AJ.

Great and its understandable .......... if your too stupid to see the bigger picture.

What will happen now is because Wilder is refusing to get involved with Whyte and leaving him on the table instead of knocking him off, Joshua will now rematch Whyte instead, by that time Fury will then have his comeback fight and then Joshua will have a mega fight against Fury .......... all while Wilder sits stateside with his one belt.

Arrogant fool. smh

--Joshua's promoter has laid into the American, 32, saying he is full of "bull****".
And Hearn believes even if Wilder was offered into the ring by AJ following the fight, he would run scared, much like he is doing in their fight negotiations.
Hearn told iFL TV: "He’s [Wilder] getting paid a load of money by Sky to come and work for them this week and his bum’s gone - simple.
"Dillian Whyte’s there. Anthony Joshua’s there. 'I want to get in the ring' - bull**** your bum’s gone, don’t talk about these fights if you’ve got no intention of taking them.
"You’ve got two fighters that will take his belt, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte as well and we’ve improved our offer now to Deontay Wilder and if he don’t take this fight he’s a joke.
"I’ve been told he’s not coming, is he mad? Who’s advising him that?
"The whole epicentre of heavyweight boxing and the sport of boxing is in Cardiff on Saturday night but he don’t want to know.--

^ This is what I feared would happen because of the ego of Deontay Wilder. You could tell from his rhetoric that he thinks he's too good to be fighting Whyte first. Not attending the fight is just another sign that his ego is out of control. Sad that it's looking like it's going this way. It will also make it hard to negotiate a deal with Wilder if he has this attitude.

That sucks I was hoping to see some confrontations and shit talking exchanges lol.

Anyway, would everyone rather see AJ/Wilder or Wilder/Whyte? Youre full of it if you say Wilder/Whyte.

I have seen no evidence that Deontay Wilder's ego is "out of control" at all. He seems like a nice guy, trying to do what is best for his bottom line.

If you dont do everything Hearn says your ego is out of control.

Is it though? If he fights Whyte and he has little chance of losing he makes the final showdown with AJ even more lucrative then it already is. And even if he doesn't want to fight Whyte just showing up to the AJ/Parker fight gets his name out there and makes the AJ Wilder fight even bigger.

It is up to Wilder to decide what is best for Wilder. Wilder is not required to attend Anthony Joshua's boxing matches. Anthony Joshua also could have attended Wilder vs Ortiz, but chose not to.

It sounds like Deontay Wilder just does not feel like dancing for Hearn and company. That is perfectly fine to me, he does not have to dance, he just has to fight.

What happens if AJ or Wilder lose in the meantime? What happens if one of them takes a serious injury? What happens if Wilder ages overnight?

All very real considerations. All could rob us of the best fight we could see.

Ive got no problem seeing Wilder flatten Whyte and the fight with AJ being built up more, but Ive got no skin in the game and nothing to lose either.

No one can tell me with a straight face that Wilder needs to prove something further to earn a fight with AJ. Or that Whyte is some milestone accomplishment to put him there.

People want to keep pretending Wilder wont get fights done. They said he wouldnt take Povetkin. Yet he was there and ready to go. They said he wouldnt take Ortiz. Yet he did twice, even after Ortiz got popped.

I guess some people just take Hearn’s word as gospel.

Beating Whyte does not change anything about the Wilder vs Joshua fight. It does not make it much bigger, it does not suddenly make Wilder a superstar, nothing like that at all. All it does is buys Joshua another year while putting the 32 year old Wilder in another match.

It is as transparent as can be. Every "A-side" boxer uses the same lame lines to push a fight further down the road when there is significant risk.

Now even British fans are saying, "Omg! Wilder told Hearn he won't go to Joshua's next match! What a mistake!"

Is that some kind of joke? Lol.

Hell yes. YOU WILL BE BAPTIZED, SON!!!

Well, he did say he would beat a prime Tyson and already has done more than Ali... I get being a top athlete means you need 100% confidence.. but uhhh <_<

And yes, they are British posters ITT

That sucks. Getting an in ring confrontation with him and AJ (assuming AJ wins) after would have been gold, and a great way to hype things up.

Maybe this is all a ploy to surprise everyone, when Wilder descends from the rafters above!

...and then Tyson Fury runs out from the locker room in a batman costume and a folding chair in hand...

...one can only hope

Good; negotiate and sign the fight, and then have a face off. All the talking, going to the fight etc means fck all without agreement from both parties.

If this fight doesn't happen before Fury is back then he will be on the sidelines. For British fans that fight is far fckin bigger than Wilder.

Why should he waste his time watching Joshua fight yet another no-hoper?

hmm, this is actually something they might be waiting for. With Fury on the comeback trail, they want to see if he can actually make it into the ring in the next 6months or so, and look halfway decent. As you said, that is a much bigger fight than Wilder/AJ. Not just for UK, but most of the boxing world, except US.

If Fury can't make the comeback happen, then move on to option B (Wilder).

The Fury that hasnt fought in 3 years, is on drugs, and is the size of a whale?

Well thats silly to be frank.

Good. He's not going to let Hearn punk him by not letting him in the ring or some bullshit.
