Wikipedia is very masculine so feminists pledge to fix it

Women who hate men, become one.

If true: People wonder why the modern feminist movement is laughed at?

If not: The rustling.

But if they color it pink, that's sexist to other feminists!

I've read that something like 90% of people who contribute to Wikipedia are men. Women need to step their game up and simply offer more to what's probably the internet's greatest source of information. Not pledge to fix layouts and imagined discrimination.

Bunch of snaggle toothed bitches sticking their nose in.

too fat & ugly to get laid so they want the whole world to burn.

*Snap* Don't bitch if you don't contribute. BTW, anyone who knows how wiki editing works knows that these ladies will get eaten by the controlling contributors.

/thread.

Q; How many feminists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: That's not funny you PATRIARCHAL misogynist!!!1!

It's almost like they're looking for things to be offended by. I'm mean aren't there more pressing issues to worry about? Overpopulation, natural resources depletion, hunger...you gotta pretty pathetic if wikipedia bothers you enough that you have to organize a campaign to change it's contents to suit your ideals of gender equality.

Stuff like this used to bother me, but now it makes me think of how good life is. Life is so easy for some people that wikipedia not being girly enough is an actual complaint that they should spend time on.

I was just listening to a Freakonomics podcast about this last week. It said that one reason they think women don't like working on wikis is because the way someone tells you they don't like your contribution is being deleting it or directly editing it. I think they said something about the direct conflict turns them off.

As already mentioned a better solution would be to look at why women don't contribute and try to figure out a way to get them more involved, rather than some random one-off mass of wikipedia entries.

I used to believe that this was a stereotype, but in some cases it's true. It takes a special person to hate an entire gender, man or woman.

men are doing the important parts. leave those trivial BS to women.

Replace "gender" with "racial" and you'd have a pretty good point, too!
