Wichc would be best gameplan for Overeem to survive Cigano?

i think.. atack the knees..goes to the TD..goes to the clinch to the cage and use strong knees to the body and elbows in the clinch...and if it is posible some jumping knee or some right punch in the distance if cigano is damaged..

overeem fought 3 rounds with nelson..he can take punish...but if cigano connects a bomb like he did to cain or hunt(r1) overeem almost be ko...

thoughts??

Teep him away for 5 rounds. Cigano lands one and its lights out for Overglass.

JDS has very limited striking defense. Hands down, backing up in a straight line, leaving openings everywhere. I'm rooting for him, but unless he tightened up his defense over the last 12 months, he's an easy target.

Overeems big problem is he is a slower less powerful striker than JDS with even more limited striking defense and worse shuts down immediately after taking a good shot.

Come backs to his kickboxing version who finished Hari, be the first to KO JDS and then gets busted.

Try to clinch for the whole 15 minutes? I really can't see Overeem winning this fight.

Come up with an injury and cancelling the fight.

If he does show up he'll be out by the end of round 2.

I think Reem will win this fight the same way he beat Lesnar.

do what he did with Roy and kickbox with JDS not box with him

Pulling out of the fight probably and I say this without animosity, AO is fun to watch.

Yet, he got tagged twice by plodding gassed-out busted-up right-overhand-only Roy Nelson. JDS will cave his face in probably.

I think his lack of defense only shows when there's a takedown threat. He trusts too much on his chin and absorbs the shots in favor of not getting taken down.

Of course that's not a good idea against 240 pound men.

I honestly don't see how Reem makes it past the first. I hope he wins tho

I would be very surprised if JDS doesn't knock out Overeem. He seems faster and can still take a mean punch. Overeem as much as I loved him just can't get hit by these heavyweights. If he loses maybe he should go back to 205?
