  1. The fight was decisively won, without any controversy or difficulty. There is zero indication that another fight would go on any other directon and result in a different result
  2. There are other top contenders who deserve a shot before conor gets another (Tony,Dustin, Justin, Alex, Gregor, Islam.)
  3. The trash talk between the two resulted in a post fight brawl last time and there's no way that doesn't happen again.
  4. It's not like LW is a weak division it's historically strong and the fans deserve fresh matchups
  5. The UFC would make just as much money putting conor against any one else and giving an immediate rematch to an underserved fighter diminishes the concept that the UFC is a "real sport" . There are WWE elements in every form of combat sports but stuff like this devalues the UFC and gives credence to people who argue that the UFC "isn't a real sport"

Gullible tards would watch it and will generate a huge profit for the UFC.
Dana doesn't give a fuck about what's fair or not - that 4,5 Billion loan is not going to pay itself.

Conor Just doesn’t really want to compete anymore, and as a fan of him that is very disappointing for me. Sadly I think even if he had won he still was not really going to compete. He got that big payday and the fire went out.

Did you say that as if he personally took out a loan LOL?

What is his annual salary? Like 50 million.

Money... that it.
Who deserves a title shot is irrelevant.
This is Conors legacy to the UFC..

No, I did not say that Dana personally took a loan. But his masters did. And he is going to do exactly as they say.

IMO Conor needs a comeback win. Or atleast he should get one. He hasn't won a ufc fight in like 2 and a half years. He might of done better vs. Khabib had he had a tune up fight of sorts.

Because it sells itself, pretty much printing money.

Khabib's interview was interesting, he seems dead set on Tony next. And there's a good Chance Conor prices himself out.

Would the rematch generate 10x more revenue than Khabib/Tony? Sure. But is it worth it if they have to pay Conor 50x more than Tony?

Khabib/Tony is the biggest fight the UFC can make outside of Conor or Jones/DC 3, so it's not like it won't make them good money.

Both men were 1W 1L that night. It needs to be settled.

They want to spend Conor's last apparances for the biggest fights possible.

never forget, the UFC is in the money making business first and foremost.

Them being in the fight business is a distant second on their priorities list.

based off of what would this fight do big biz? He was outclassed in the last one . Khabib is a bad stylistic matchup for donor so it wouldn't go any different .

Because we still dont know where Noah is

Also, that was the best pre fight press conference ever
