Why would Jones take estrogen blockers if his T/E ratio was that of an 80 year old man?

In january 2015 his T/E ratio was 0.29 to 1. I don't understand why did he took them.

The tic tacs he ate earlier in the day was tainted with them.

Doesn't mean he was juicing, move on....

The "e" in t:e stands for epitest. not estrogen. epitestosterone can be used to balance the t:e ratio to mask the use of synthetic testosterone

Estrogen blockers are cancer drugs used by athletes to combat the aromatization of testosterone to estrogen

From the original Cormier fight and beyond, if you aren't at the very LEAST raising an eyebrow to Jones' shenanigans, then you are living in La-La Land.

lol

yeah, but doesn't it still mean he has very low testoterone level?

Estrogen blockers are used by those are are taking testosterone supplements. When taking test/steroids your body will have elevated levels of estrogen if you don't take estrogen blockers. This is why many steroid users take aromasin or arimidex or some form of estrogen inhibitors. It is also used in PCT or post cycle therapy when you stop taking steroids while your body's testosterone production returns to normal levels. I am not an expert on it but that is my basic understanding. This is why estrogen inhibitors are a banned substance.

No not at all. Infact he could have supraphysiological levels of total testosterone. As long as sufficient amounts of epitestosterone is used (the more testosterone injected, the more epitestosterone must be administered) the t:e ratio will be normal or even low.

Total testosterone levels are measured through blood testings.

To have such low negative ratio as Jones had is probably not possible without exogenous administration.

No Jones actions are ever easy to comprehend

As I understand it the implication with Jones very low testosterone are not that it represented his "normal" level but that it potentiallty indicated some kind of PED use, a masking agent or maybe a temp low level after a cycle of steroids.

Who knows . Coincidently if someone comes off a testosterone cycle for the 1st couple of weeks their testosterone levels will be very low. If you take an oestrogen blocker it will cause your body to produce more natural testosterone more quickly as the body needs it so it can be turned into oestrogen. Now I'm sure thats not what Jon was up to but still..............

Do some individual research on test/epitest and estrogen and get back to us. You're way behind.

LOL to all the shertards that bashed Victor Conte when he looked at the leaked Jones vs. DC I test results and said Jones ratio's were way abnormal for a young athlete and that Jones was clearly doping.
