Why would Anderson add insult to injury and tarnish his reputation?!

    Whoever is advising Anderson right now should be fired. Everyone who has failed a drug test in similar fashion has resulted in a mandatory suspension and fine. His Lawyer has to know this. Ed Soares has to know this. Anderson has to know this. So what possible good can come of him publicly telling the world he has sexual problems and gets unknown viles of substances from Thailand?!! This has to rank as one of the Top 5 worst excuses ever given to a judge.

    It was bad enough Andersons career was being questioned after getting caught with steroids but now he just made himself a laughing stock and will forever be linked to penis jokes.

    Has there ever been a superstar on Andersons level that fell from grace so quickly?

    Im serious guys. How hard would it have been to raise another excuse that would have grown Anderson's chances of dismissal?

    Anderson: Can't get it up. Even at this day and age where free internet-porn is, litterally, jumping at you, he just cannot get hard.

    McGregor: Sports an erection at the weigh ins like it's nothing.

    McGregor > Anderson

    McGregor = GOAT

    Extremely poor judgment, and extremely poor management.

    He did it in order to save his legacy as a fighter. This was more important to him than anything.

    Also, he couldn't argue that he used these PED's to treat his injury, because as far as I understand it, the particular substances that were found in his blood could not be used to to heal bones.

    Yeah, I'm still baffled aswell. It was idiotic & moronic to present this as a defence. Dumbfounded.

    He took a really stupid gamble and lost. Anyone with common sense could see how this would play out and what his best options were.

    He decided to go the Roger Clemens route.

    I lost more respect for Anderson for his ridiculous performance in the 1st Weidman fight than I have during this PED "scandal" which people are blowing out of proportion. He got caught... he wasn't be the first and he absolutely won't be the last

    Yeah, this is just painful to watch.

    Just had to plug the sympathy angle, take his lumps, and walk with the sanctions - but pride somewhat intact - and instead...we get this. Utterly fucking baffling.

    Hubris. Pride comes before the for. Pride is a fool's fortress, and in the end it defends against nothing but his own better judgement.
