...he's supposedly been training in anticipation for it?

Straight from Pederneiras' mouth (in an interview given to Portal do vale Tudo on Jan 16th)

“That’s what he wants the most. He wants it so much that he’s already training conditioning, jiu-jitsu and boxing. Nothing too excessive, of course, but he wants to stay in shape. He’s not lazy. He will always be expecting that chance to get the fight on short notice, otherwise he might not get another chance. He’s got that notion in his mind so he’s staying active.”

So what happened there? Already training conditioning, jiu-jitsu and boxing, you say? Want to stay in shape, you say? Expecting to get to fight Conor on short notice, so you want to be ready because you might not get another chance, you say?

A little over a month later: Fight McGregor? On short notice? Are you crazy?!? Aldo's not in shape!!!

I think McGangster put the fear of god in him.

I think he wants a rematch but wants time to prepare. Whk knows when it might happen at this stage with 155 and Frankie in the mix

I'm disappointed Aldo isn't ready. Not in Aldo personally, just disappointed the fight isn't happening. There is a difference between "short notice" and close to "zero" notice.

It sucks so many McGregor fans shit all over Aldo. The guy was a dominant champion for years.

This mentality just end putting more pressure into a fighter I guess.
    Is that Omar?
Hell he was a great character, he went away in a rough way.
    One of the GOAT shows.
