Why won’t conor move to WW?

Not a big enough frame to compete at 170. The only way this works is if the UFC gets rid of weight cutting, then sure can fight at 170 but still would get crushed by Khabib.
 
Conor probably walks around 175. 155 is where he should be.

He would get ragdolled by 200 pounders like Usman, Woodley etc.

Meh. Pettis fought at 145 and jumped up to 170 and knocked out Wonderboy.
 
I'm sure the top 10 WW's would love the easy win and huge payday... but Conor will get fucked up all day long at 170.

He'll never be a three division champ, even if the UFC does create a 165lb division. It will be a blend of the bigger LW's and smaller WW's and there could be a ton of fun fights, but he won't touch gold at anything above 155.

He wanted to move up to lhw but UFC is protecting Jones and told him not to
 
Since he never fights at any weight anymore I would say his chances of winning a 3rd title is pretty slim!<45>

His weight cut to FW was difficult but other fighters cut a lot more to make their own particular weight class than he did at FW. There are different body compositions and it is easier for some to cut weight. The real question should be:
- why did he even fight at WW in the first place

He tried to have that division created so he could fight a FW for the belt at it.
 
He just got his ass kicked by the 155 champ and there is no reason to believe he wouldn't get smashed again

At 170, a weight class full of massive wrestlers with great cardio, he gets embarassed even worse.

He is as big as most LW's, Pettis bounced back to 175 while fighting at 155...So i certainly doubt a guy that looked like death making 145 walks 30lbs above that on the daily, thats LW fight night weight.
 
TS is absolutely right. Conor should move up and get an instant title shot against Usman.
 
He already fought a super heavyweight twice. The transition will be fairly easy.
 
Conor drowns at WW. He can barely hang at 155.
 
He doesn't need to, there aren't weightclasses in the sport of twitter warrior.........
 
any top 10 welterweight would abuse conor badly in the cage. pettis included.

cause woodley and usman and askrin would do to him what khabib did with out much effort doing it.
