To goad leon into throwing empty shots. Hits to the back, glutes or thigh arent going to really damage him and you can't hit the head. He knew he couldn't win in a technical striking match so he wanted to gas Leon out and make it a scrap. Gotta play with the cards you are dealt. Despite all appearances the Diaz Bros aren't actually idiots. They didn't get to where they are today by accident.

Leon got clowned, humiliated and lost that fight. A fight is about damage not points. Leon would've been dead. Only thing he managed to do is score more points. That isn't fighting. That's playing a sport. Leon also in lost his title shot and most likely, his stock. Way to play yourself by refusing to engage a shot LW that was your perfect match up.

No I would prefer to witness as bad of a beat down as possible. I don’t watch violence for emotional ties to someone.

If mma resembled a fight leon would have lost as Nate took everything leon dished and had him on bambi legs. The fight was broken up at that point. If it continued. The winner would be clear.

Leon won the match. Nate won the fight.

Some people cut very easily or bruise easily. It’s not indicative of an ass beating. If you’re got to the point of not being able to control your limbs in a fight is disastrous.

in a real fight the majority will quit from getting hit. Let alone bleeding. Elbows cause cuts. Both Diaz cut easily.

Igor vicchanchy walked out to fight sperry with a tampon over his eye as his skin is like butter. He lost that fight. But in no way does mma resemble a fight.

my point is if the narrative that mma is real fighting leon would have an l. As he could barely stand was hurt much more.

it’s five and take and who can take more. Nate took his best leon couldn’t handle it and could barely walk.

that’s pretty important in a fight.

Hey, like Nate and have been watching him since TUF BUT how is getting so incapacitated within the 1st 3 mins of a fight and spending the rest of the fight knelt on his knees waiting and taunting for SOMETHING magical to happen rise 1 stock??? When he finally landed smth significant he is still to incapacitated to do anything with it at all. He is still a WARRIOR no doubt, but between this and the Masvidal Massacre ppl need to come to terms with the fact that he is 100% WASHED Fam.
