Why Was Conor So Scared To Go To The Ground vs Nate?

Why was Nate begging to get the fight to the ground?

The better question is where was nate's boxing?

Why would he go to the ground with Nate when he was easily winning the standup? Can you think for a second?

"I'm the greatest of all-time"... Won't the greatest of all-time be great everywhere?

I don't know....

Because he wanted the fight to take place where he feels he has the greatest comparative advantage. I don't like McGregor, but don't fault him for his game plan. He did what he had to win, even if it meant point fighting and "resetting" (running).

Why is there so little talk about Nate laying on his back calling Conor into his guard?

Because fighters who get dropped, their opponent tries to finish them, not beg him to get up.

MOD EDIT: This was not done by BWR. It was done by @maddwarf. We had a small "Shoop duel" where I just added Scooting Nate. This is the original. - BWR
