Why was Brian Foster cut by the UFC in 2010?

The guy fights for a small org in my town now, looked over his resume,won 3 of his last 4 UFC fights (and last 2 ufc fights) with wins over Matt Brown and Brock Larson and his loss being to Chris Lytle.

Was there anything behind the scenes going on that caused it? I don't remember the details.

It's too bad, because he was a really fun guy to watch. He ragdolled Larson in their fight--no one ragdolls Larson!
