Because the UFC and truth are not synonymous. Ariel pushed the envelope way too much and they aren't going to allow that unless its from their end. Dana has never liked Ariel and after he announced their plans for 200 that was the last straw

I agree. I never felt Ariel Helwani had a big ego. Confidence is not ego. I think he got his calm confidence from practicing. During those lame clips in between UFC Tonight commercials, sometimes they'd show Ariel practicing his pronunciations, etc.
