Mighty Mouse last 4 PPVs, he headlined all of them but none did well.

Weidman last PPV and upcoming, he is the "co-main event". The last time he was the main event which was against Machida, it did some decent numbers.

What is up with UFC business strategy?

When Weidman was the main event, wasn't Ronda the star attraction of that card?

Uhm TS does realize Weidman vs Rockhold was supposed to headline that card until injury forced it back, right?

I would guess they think they can turn him intona star. With Mighty Mouse not picking up any casuals with his stints on big fox they have just given up on. They use him to fulfill contracts and test their baseline.

I don't think Mighty Mouse is ever Plan A. They use him when there's no other headliners available or there's an injury, like with UFC 191 and DC/Gus.

Or using his events as a tax write-off?

That Machida/Weidman card had Rousey in the comain. I don't think it said much about what the Chris can draw on his own.

I forgot.

It happens, nearly every time MM has headlined a PPV it's been as an injury replacement for another title fight.

I'm sure the UFc would ideally have MM's fights all on Fox or FS1, unfortunately with how injury prone some of their champions are that's not always an option.

Because MM shows up to his fights. Weidman pulls out of about half of them

You're kidding yourself if you don't think they'd like to have Weidman headline more often.

TS is confusing what Zuffa would like to happen with what will happen. Personally I'd love to bang Jennifer Lawrence but the truth is I'm going to bang a solid 7/decent 8 and be happy about it.

The Ufc would love to get 12-14 ppvs headlined by Aldo, Cain/Werdum, Weidman and Jones/DC but they will get about 8.

they should make Weidmans next title defense a co-main to Mighty Mouse's headline fight.

They'd love to put 14 PPV headlined by
Ronda
Connor
(repeat that names all over again until fill 14 spots)

And maybe one with GSP or Lesnar return
