I don't really get why top guys turn down fights on short notice. They'll get paid more to take the fight and they'll have the best advantage possible over their opponent who isn't even training and basically will be fat and die to make weight for the fight.
-0 cardio
-0 preparation for the opponent
-terrible shape and fatigued of making weight in short notice
-no drills, no special wrestling, bjj, striking adjustments
This is the best and easiest opportunity ever for Ortega to fight Stephens. Yes, there is always a risk, but its the lowest possible he'll ever have facing Stephens. Stephens is the one risking it all, having 0 preparation for his opponent, no time to adjust anything or do any cardio and didn't prepare making weight either. So why do people always talk how the full camp fighter is the "victim" while their opponent are in the worst possible shape and lowest they could ever be?
