How come? It's only aspirin, a lot of elderly people take it if they have heart issues because it helps prevent blood clots by thinning the blood. What harm does an aspirin a day do?

I think it causes inflammation while taking it, and many times people end up taking the aspirin for the inflammation that the aspirin itself caused
