I'm a libertarian. I believe in people having the option to make choices to do what they want with their own bodies and I'm opposed to others trying to dictate what's acceptable and what isn't. It's like all the sudden people are on some moral crusade against PEDs as if its a huge problem in this world. I personally would rather be around a bunch of individuals taking testosterone than a bunch of people who are drinking, smoking or doing rec drugs. Athletes will always have their own tricks to gain an edge over their opponent and elevated testosterone levels alone will not make a fighter better, but it does promote faster muscle recovery. TRT allows aging fighters to stay physically on par with the younger guys and I think its great to see fighters still successful almost 20 years into it. People want to see athletes who look like they're in top physical condition as well as perform at levels that are nearly impossible, but then want to ostrasize and berate an athlete if he's taking a medication to help him recover from the training it takes to get to that level. That being said, I just dont believe it should be much of a controversy nor do I think that this would even be an issue had the whole clown show of congressional hearings against PEDs in baseball in the mid 2000s had not taken place and brought the topic to the forefront of media attention.
