I think this fight is highly sensible right now. Caceres is coming off an exciting win in his last out and a really cool finish the out before that but has never really cracked top 10. Emmet now suffering 2 back to back losses to top 10 competition, (3 if you count katter)

shows if Alex is ready for the step up, also a winnable tune up for emmet to see if he’s really still a top dog

Anyways I don't know, Emmet is #6 right now and Leeroy is down at 15 idk if he deserves a fight thats so close to the top 5 .

He should face Giga or someone a little lower imo plus Emmet has to take a veryyyyyy long break being 38 and having just been in a brutal war.

I like it. After the shellacking he took from both Ilia and Yair, he could do with a more winnable fight. Also gives Caceres the opportunity to finally get some shine after all the work he's put in.

Yeah at first I was like wtf no then I was like actually I like it. It give Alex a HUGE chance and josh a break sort of but I think Alex is a tough fight for emmit but I'd still pick him to win.

Not terrible but I imagine Caceres wants to fight again soon. He's petty active. Emmett just went thru 2 brutal beatings in 4 months so he isn't likely to be on the same timeline. Gotta remember these guys are humans not video game characters.
