First of all, I don't think Holly's striking is all that it is made out to be. Her hands are very very slow and she has very little power. Her kicks are pretty great, specially the side kicks and the oblique kicks, although she needs to fire them with a little more speed if she wants to avoid get taken down. Her footwork is pretty great though.
Miesha on the other hand has pretty bad striking and her kicks in this fight were terrible. However what Miesha does have is immense durability. She is as tough as they come. That's her best advantage, take down her opponent and either ground and pound them or submit them. Because Holly has a weak ground game, that was the clear path to victory.
The thing is, Ronda, by having the ground game that she has essentially nullifies Miesha's biggest weapon. Unlike this fight with Holly where Miesha desperately wanted to take it to the ground, against Ronda she knows that taking it to the ground is the worst thing she can possibly do because as soon as there is a scramble Ronda will summon an arm.
If Miesha can't clinch with Ronda and can't take the fight to the ground, what can she do? Her only option is to strike with Ronda. In and out, stick and move while keeping her distance. But that's not Miesha's game. That is Holly's game.
This is a clear instance of "styles make fights". Holly has the perfect style to beat Ronda, Miesha has the perfect style to beat Holly and Ronda has the perfect style to beat Miesha.
All this to say that Miesha has no chance against Ronda.
