I mean he has 28 KO/TKO's and had a nice streak going on earlier in his career. Exciting fighter like Melvin is he would be the one UFC would want right? Did he have beef with Dana or something? Older fans please enlight me

He punched Kos after the bell.

Lifetime ban.

Before it's because he did kickboxing and MMA. UFC stopped allowing guys to do events outside of the UFC except some grappling tournaments.

Now I don't know his status.

Great guy, met him a few times but he was never a top fighter, more like an average top15 fighter with KO power

Manhood = Manhoef by the way

P.S., Manhood? No need to elaborate what you're thinking of when researching Melvin.

He was more of a kickboxer competing in MMA. Love watching him fight, but I would predict a losing record in the UFC even during his prime. But the time would have been in the early 2000's if they did sign him.

he liked to compete for different promotions. UFC's iron clad contracts were not appealing to the Dutchman

Why do you call a black person Dutch Man? It's racist.

i'm sure he was on the cuff of being signed by the UFC. at the time that he could of signed with the UFC he was jumping around to different organizations. the UFC doesn't allow that and manhoef made more moving around then he would of be exclusively fighting in the UFC.

I can think of one reason, but then again UFC had Costa, Paul Harris, and Vitor.
