Why McGregor Beats the Snot Out of Aldo (Feel free to Bump In the Future)

Shit like that won't land on Aldo.

Lol at the confidence of conor. "He doesnt fear aldo at all!" Unfortunatly for conor, you dont have to be scared to get ur ass whooped. You really believe aldo lacks any confidence himself? He hasnt lost in twn years. Conor has a size advantage...granted. Aldo has training partners to mimic that. No biggie. Power...cause aldo cant ko anyone right? Ha. Speed...cause aldo is so slow! Movement...cause aldo hasnt faced anyone with mobility? Thats my favorite one btw. Look, conor may win this fight. I could see that happening. Hes a very impressive fighter. But ill wait til he actually beats aldo before i crown him the second coming of achilles. He still hasnt faced mendes, edgar, or aldo. There is a big difference between conors resume and aldos. Lets temper those hopes and dreams just a bit folks.

I am in.. It's always nice to believe in something that majority refuses to :)

Yeah to be honest this is the exact type of kick that won't be effective for Aldo. 99% of the time Conor checks that with ease.

It's the inside leg kick off the left leg that Aldo will need to disrupt Conor's movement. The problem for Aldo is that he doesn't possess the same power and proficiency with the weaker leg.

LOL

You mean this:

1. Siver got lucky with the TIMING of his leg kick, McGregor has a leg off the ground and Siver struck his standing leg, tripping him to the ground. He got lucky with the timing ... it's not like Siver's insane POWER took McGregor off his feet or something, SMH.

2. McGregor at the speed of light, got straight back to his feet. He is just so fluid in the octagon, so comfortable. He is like water.

Siver didn't "get lucky" with the timing of that kick, he's an experienced kicker who knows how to time a leg kick. Also, Aldo has better timing than Siver.

If you notice, Conor is checking it. He brings his left leg up in an attempt to counter Siver's low kick, but Dennis swung so low that he hit Conor's right leg first, sweeping him.

Funny...even in slow motion that 3 strike combo looks fast...not to mention pin point accuracy.

I think it will be a competitive fight, Conor will land some shots, but Aldo wins a decision.

Nah, he ain't trying to check it. He'd use his front leg to check like how he checked Siver's last leg kick in the fight. Here he was going for one of his own kicks but Siver beat him to it and caught him on one leg.

yes, he did get lucky ... that's why he threw the left afterwards ...

When an experienced kicker lands a well-timed kick, it's not luck, there are many instances of fighters landing kicks like that, and it's through good timing.

If Aldo's camp is smart, they're going to pick apart every second of McG v Siver, for the leg kicks and checks, especially since McG utilizes his reach so well.

I expect this fight to go the distance with Aldo as the victor, with McG's lead leg looking like a whale's penis.

He threw the left hand afterwards .... WHY?? Because he was trying to hit McGregor ... If he intended to trip McGregor with that kick, then WHY the F**K did he throw the follow up left hook???? He tripped McGregor by luck.

People will be surprised when conor destroys aldo with leg kicks and out strikes him with punches. aldo can't hurt goat with power. he will get caught and beaten. end of story.

Connor isn't really all that fast. He's not slow by any means, but what he has is a combination of excellent timing, fluidity, and a weird pace that he explodes out of then shifts back into. He also has effective strikes at all kinds of ranges, but make no mistake, Aldo has the advantage in speed by a fair margin.

I'm also gonna just be blunt here. Connor has some of the worst stand up see defense in the ufc. hes got some okay head movement but he eats a lot of counters. He just absorbs leg kicks. He does a good job of cutting off his opponents movement but again, in doing so he just lets himself get hit. hes gotten away with it so far because he's had such a huge advantage in power and has been able to straight up intimidate his opponents but Aldo is by far the most accomplished striker in the division and has been pushed far harder than Connor has by better fighters than anyone Connor has faced.

Whether or not he intended to trip him hardly seems relevant. The point was that the kick landed because of Siver's timing, not "luck".
