Why isn't Kabob not a thing in the US

I've been all around the world and everyone loves Kabob shops. It's like fast food, you get a pita, some meat and some sauce and a side of nice fat crispy fries. I've had it in Spain, and Austrailia, and Vienna, but not the US. WHY don't we have the best fast food?!

Got food poisoning bad in Crete eating Gyros. There so damn good though.

Pretty sure they were called Kabobs in Italy/Sicily. They had a lot of horse meat stands too.

US has a very low population density because we have so much land. So, it's hard to find international options outside of dense cities. That's also why we drive more and have more roads and have less public transportation.

Also, most immigrants populate in cities. So, most of the country is just white and black people spread out like 1 person per km. So, if there ever is a kabob place or something, it's either in a city or it's 50 km away.

The only food options you will have in most of the country are American food and Americanized Chinese food. There will be just one Chinese family in the entire county and they will always own a Chinese restaurant. I think it's a conspiracy.
