Why isnt Conor Demanding Tony Ferguson Fight?

So funny how a few months ago everyone here was saying it’s a bad stylistic match up for Tony because he gets hit a lot

Conor should be nowhere near a belt right now.

Tony should.

Give conor basically another shot right in a row? That would be bullshit... But the ufc does like to give him everything on a silver plater...

Do you not realize that they're going to give him a title shot with a win over Cerrone? At least if he fights Tony and wins he would have deserved it. UFC is a fucking joke.

I like this fight but knew it wouldn't happen. I was saying McGregor was realistically probably scraping top 5 when he was champion lol. The Cowboy fight makes total sense. They see a potential win for Conor. Ferg, Khabib and even Diaz are too much a threat to his stock to lose again. He has tough competition everywhere so they were looking for someone to most likely play his game that was barely top 10.

That's why Mcg is fine fighting Cowboy. while Cerrone is taller, McG has a small reach advantage (3cm) and Cerrone is not known for his great boxing defense. This is an easy fight for Mcg IF Cerrone doesn't start kicking Mcg in the legs and make him tired, plus Cowboy has great bjj but no wrestling so he has to keep Mcg at bay with his kicks or he's out.
