Why isn’t Jorge mad at Dana?

Jorge must think Ari isn't willing to pay up.

Hes saying Dana has bosses above him calling shots. Which is partially true but they really all working together in managing n making executive decisions

lol the dude should feel bad about himself, him and his management team completely failed.

Masvidal vs edward next fight, he ll fight for 250 k, lose, and we will forget this hype.

He's not really just a promoter though, he has control over the deals as well, the matchmaking, and pretty much any decision the UFC makes.

He has very little latitude with the budget.

Dana has always been the fall guy, the face of the company not the business. Lorenzo was the business and now its Endeavor, who went ahead and fired a long list of UFC executives and employees when they took over. Dana doesn't have the type of control you think he does.

I guess he’s not willing to come out with Dana’s name.

I feel it will be something very much like that. He blew it.

Endeavor doesn't make the decisions on how to run the business, that's Dana. They may own the company, but Dana runs the company.

That is categorically incorrect.

The absolute first thing Endeavor did is fire executives and long time staff when they took over. A big part of their plan to squeeze cash out of Zuffa was consolidating management. By the way, Endeavor takes a $25,000,000 'management' fee off the top from the UFC every year.

They unequivocally manage the P&L and balance sheet, and that means the available pool of cash for fighter pay.

Dana has some latitude with regards to bookings, match making, the small stuff. In Jorge's own words, Dana is not the guy making these deals. He can probably go to bat for someone or do the opposite, but he cannot mange budgetary decisions. Lorenzo is seen on video working with Jon Jone's manager on his new contract, years ago. It has never been Dana.

Dat $4 billion debt service doe.

That's because certain fighters refuse to work with Dana, Jon being one of them. Joe Silva did a majority of the contracts with Dana looking over his shoulder. Dana is/always has been involved in that process. Dana is pretty much involved in every aspect of the company, maybe he doesn't have full control over everything, but his word definitely carries weight in the company. He's involved in basically every aspect of managing the company, he's not just a promoter.

Then in your opinion, why isn’t Jorge mad at him?

He got a phone call from Dana to stop with all the Princess Rosella antics and quickly changed his tune

This is again categorically incorrect.

We have from litigation discovery the promotional contracts of both Eddie Alvarez and Randy Couture and the process of negotiating them entered into the record. Dana is not materially involved in that at all. The boilerplate clauses and terms were developed under the supervision of Lorenzo, who also explicitly managed the P&L and budget of the entire company.

It is hilariously wrong to say Dana is "involved in basically every aspect of managing the company." He has virtually no control over the budget. He also has literally no control over the rights deals, which is where all the revenue comes from.

No matter how many times you say its categorically incorrect, it doesn't make it true. If you think Dana is not involved in the contract negotiations, I don't know what to tell you. You're wrong. He might not always be involved with all fighters, but he is definitely involved.

If you think Dana is not involved in the contract negotiations

Jorge Masvidal has just today explicitly said Dana is not involved in his negotiations.

Conor McGregor has explicitly and publicly said Dana is not involved in his contract negotiations.

Nate Diaz has explicitly and publicly said Dana is not involved in his negotiations. To the point that Lorenzo Fertitta had to fly to Stockton California to personally work a deal with Nate to rematch Conor.

Jon Jones' manager can be seen, on video, on the UFC youtube channel, negotiating Jon's new contract with Lorenzo, in Lorenzo's office. His eldest son was home on summer break and sat in on the meeting.

Dana has never had control over Zuffa's P&L, budget or debt. He has even less control over those items under Endeavor.

This is not up for debate. You are wrong.

Lol go ahead and feel bad, bro. Dana’s made your net worth exponentially and doesn’t ever have to get beat up publicly.

Jorge Masvidal Accuses Dana White of 'Strong Arming' UFC Contract Negotiations

I already explained why I signed a new deal. It’s either take it or leave it and not get paid. I would’ve signed another deal if it was done in good faith. He called me night before he wants to announce and tell me take or it leave it. That’s not negotiating that’s strong arming

Thats from 2 hours ago, but Dana wasnt involved right?

You're wrong, now move along.

Hey ding-dong, he's not saying Dana produced the deal or even negotiated it with him, he's saying he was asked to sign it without notice.

He has explicitly said, verbatim, that Dana is not the person doing the deal.

That is black and white, and if you don't acknowledge it we are now playing a game called "stupid or liar?"
