Dont get me wrong. I think its cool that they do. Just wondering why?

They want to give them the last paycheck and send them off into obscurity.

Money is the real answer

Sometimes you have to go along to get along.

Promoting = $$$$$

U pay me good money i will put that on my car for the fight, its only estimated to do 3Million buys at $99.99 no big deal

So they can say, "hey check out the best boxers in the world, and you know what? Ronda beats both their asses in under a minute"

Because this fight is bigger than the ufc and they want to cling on just like everyone else

Same reason dana is doing media for it.

There trying to get cross over fans who look for it and go hey o ufc

Because deep down they are boxing fans and really want to see it.

I have a couple ideas:

1) This is cynical, but I think the fight is going to be kind of boring. If fans see the boxing fight of the century and it's a typical Floyd sparring sesh, well they're going to say "yeah this sucks ass imma just watch MMA."

2) People who like one combat sport tend to like others too. If this fight gets people into boxing, they will likely also want to watch MMA.

3) Maybe the UFC brass actually are fight fans, and are just excited about it?

It's actually a good question. I don't see any clear incentive to promote this fight, which is why I thought of #1 because it's the closest thing to a real incentive.

more likely question is why wouldn't they. not everyone is a hater, that's like saying why is Marvel promoting DC. which they have and will do again.

cos its the only superfight UFC fans will ever see again

Because the PPV is all a ruse they are going full wwe and McGregor and Ronda and gonna interfere in the match.
