Why is there no talk of Till vs Ponz if he wins

There is so much talk about Till vs Perry if he wins instead of just 'the winner of Perry vs Ponz', as if Ponz is retiring or some shit.
Either guy is a no brainer/fantastic matchup for Till's next fight but it's as if we need Perry to win or we have to go with someone else.
HELLO? The Ponz fight makes as much sense if not more if it wasn't for that incident in Poland.
Till even called Ponz out for fuck's sake. Am I missing something? Is Ponz retiring even with a win?
