Why is their so much hate for COD Advanced Warfare?

I don't really play fps's online, but I thought the campaign was for Advanced Warfare was great. I would never pay full price for it, but it's a decent $12 Gamestop bargain bin game. I was a little put off by it at first, but once I got passed the first level I was into it.

I think the trick is to play through the campaign first before diving into multi player so you can get used to some of the new trinkets. I went into this game expecting kind of a turd, but ended up pleasantly surprised. The presentation was incredible. Some of the better graphics I've seen on the XB1.

I'm not an online player and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for the campaign as it is pretty short, but they make good bargain bin games. I'll probably pick up infinite warfare and BO 3 a year or two from now once the price dips under $20 for a used copy or if I catch a good digital sale just for the campaign.

Like said I don't usually play online, but the campaign was fun. Imo I thought Battlefeild 4 was better when it comes to multiplayer.

I'm one of the very few that liked Ghost. It had a hell of a lot of problems (especially on PC), but I felt like the gunplay was never better. Then they went to the future wall-jumping bullshit and it all went to hell. Honestly, the last decent CoD for me was MW3, and that is saying something. (I'm a PC player and BO2 just ran like shit, terrible netcode/servers, so on and so forth. If it ran better on PC it'd be awesome)

COD gets so much hate because they release the same game every year with slight differences and pitch it as revolutionary. So I will say they are not terrible games, but the formula is getting old and once you played a couple of them, it is time to move on.

As long as they kept pumping out modern warfare games, I enjoyed them all (1-3), but this jumping shit and the absurdly tall maps jus doesn't do it for me. I hate BO3 and Advanced. I never liked Halo either. Just a personal preference, but based on sales numbers I'd say I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Cod modern warfare 1 & 2 were the last good cod games. Everything since has been garbage and battlefield trashes all of them.

World at War i better than MW2 IMO, nothing about WaW is ass. Well made game with great campaign, graphics, sound design, has co op campaign (unlike almost every other cod), introduced zombies mode, had fun multiplayer.

Advanced warfare was a fucking turd. IMO of course.

WaW came out before MW2, which is why I said since. WaW wasn't as good as MW1 and 2 though

I disagree, had more content then both of them but yeah since mw2 black ops 1 was good. the rest sucked I'll give you that.
