Right now the odds are roughly at Weidman -220/ Lyoto +180. This seems way off to me. Lyoto is a tougher match up for Weidman than Anderson was IMO. He is much more elusive than Silva and he can stuff take downs. I think this is a very close fight that probably should be 50/50 in terms of odds. Am I missing something?

I have bet $150 on Machida.

Isn't that a good thing for you since u get better odds on machida?

Probably because he beat silva twice and the casual fans give that a higher weight.

Why shouldn't he be a sizable favorite he is the champ and Machida has lost to people like Rampage and Phil Davis not even that long ago

-220 isn't even close to being a big favorite, he's favored because he's the champion and he's undefeated, also Machida has lost a few fights due to tentativeness.

Weidman is coming off of two dominating wins against the conscensus p4p #1 and is undefeated.

Machida is 5-4 in the last 9 with a rather unimpressive decission against Moose last time around.

Sure, Machida is 5-4 in fights against some of the best at a weight class higher - which is why the odds aren't even worse for him.

    Odds are perfectly reasonable.

Really? I think if you know how good Moose is, then what Machida did to him was extremely impressive. I can't recall ever seeing anyone beat Moose in a stand up fight. Machida won most of the grappling exchanges as well. Moose is a killer and Machida handled him very well, unlike anyone ever has.

You should really bet on it then. And I don't mean that to come off as sarcastic, I sincerely mean it. I think Machida has a good chance of winning too, I'd bet if I thought the odds didn't represent the reality.
