The guy has a sick ground game. His striking has vastly improved, he landed a nasty head kick in his last fight that led to a stoppage.

He is a dark horse in the division. I'd love to see him challenge for the title eventually.

Corderio is GOAT striking coach, IMO.

    WAR PEDRO!

It sucked that he got Assuncao by stepping up on short notice for his first UFC fight. I have liked what I saw in the lower orgs that he was fighting in.

He looked like a killer in RFA, I legit thought he was going to pull off the upset over Raphael

He will be a contender quickly imo.
His debut was a very hard matchup for anyone.

Of all the up and coming fighters I've seen on AXS TV over the past 2 years, Thatch, Holm, and Munhoz stand head and shoulders above the rest. They're special fighters.

Munhoz will be top 5 soon.

I agree. I started watching him in RFA and I've been a big fan ever since. He is a beast.

He's a potential #1 contender at either 125 or 135 lbs. The question is who reaches the top quicker, he or Aljamain Sterling?

I can't read his name without using Schiavello's accent.

Do you actually know who he is or were you just giving a generic response and pretending?

He's a bantamweight. Could very well be future champion though. His performance against a top level fighter in Assuncao speaks volumes.

I was going to make a thread about his GnP. Typically when a guy has his opponent hurt, they go buckwild and start flailing wildly ineffective strikes. It was nice to see someone deliver composed and accurate GnP for a change.

and thank you Warlley Alves for finishing your fight so this could make it onto the FS1 broadcast. Pedro deserve better than the ass bottom of the FP prelims.

No ones talking about him because according to sherdog him being on fight pass means he sucks.

In reality though he'll be at least top 10 within a year, bantamweight is very shallow and the dude is very talented.

He's legit. Much like Darrel Montegue, he got thrown to the wolves too early.

And that headkick was sick. He was just stalking him down and pressing forward.

I seriously hope Pedro takes that belt eventually.
