Bas Rutten talks about it and wonders why no one's doing it at 29:50. I've timestamped the video:

If you try this technique out on a bag, it has almost the same power as a Thai roundhouse kick. EXCEPT you can deliver it as high as a highkick AND it has the speed and mobility of a punch. And, like a kick, even if you block it then it still fucking hurts. It's like a cheat code. It's such an awesome move.

Why aren't we seeing it in MMA that much?

UFC Needs ropes. hard to send an opponet bouncing off the cage

Someone might duck it and pull a small package or something.

I think John Dodson knocked out TJ Dillashaw with a clothesline. It was a forearm strike for sure.

So wing ur arm extended <mma4>

Seems like it will be horrible for defense, it will leave you way too exposed imo

Could definitely end a fight with this technique.

I'd rather see a DDT when going for a guillotine, or would that be considered spiking?

Why no figure four? If done correct, no can defend.

Same reason we dont see them climb the cage and jump off on someone I guess. Would be interesting since it not against the rules. When someone finishes with a Boston crab I'm done.
