Why is Khabib trolling Conor for fighting at multiple weights?

The better question is: why is Khabib tweeting about Conor when he's got El Cucuy in a few months?

For someone who's all like "win 10 fights in a row and we'll do a rematch"...he sure does seem kinda obsessed with Conor.

Rent free.

Maybe Gaethje's best win but not even close to Ferguson's. And even if it is Gaethje's best win, he did it at 155
Beating Cerrone at 170 is better than 155 lol
Cerrone struggles to make 155 and beat some good people at welterweight, he had a close fight with the former ww champ

How many wins does Khabib outside of LW?
How would Khabib do against even Nate at 170lbs? We'll never know because he's happy to stay in the secure confines of LW.

Every camp we hear about how he handles heavyweights in training but the facts are his last 2 wins are over opponents who moved up from FW. So for him to have the audacity to question Conor's record at 170 is an astonishing own-goal.

Whatever you think about Conor, he could have done 'a Khabib' and stayed dominant at FW, but with the 4 best challengers in Jose, Max, Dustin and Chad already put to the sword he wanted a greater challenge. If anyone can talk about "legacy" it's Conor.

He's replying to conors claim of greatness because he beat cowboy at 170 so wins in 3 divisions...but also as khabib pointed out...3 losses in 3 divisions as well. He beat cowboy who didnt even fight, so was not as impressive as Conor makes it out to be. He had actually lost in all 3 before he ever won in all 3. Khabib could have almost killed himself to be skeletor at 145 like Conor to gain advantage and won, has dominated 155, and would beat cowboy at any weight. It wasnt even really a 170 fight, as cowboy and Conor just didnt cut.

They weren't like all other 170ers at 185+ during fight after huge cut. Like for instance Jorge at 170 wont be 170 at fight night. Conor was mid 60s and had to gain on the week of the fight. Cowboy wasnt cutting much if any, as he stated in the presser thing where he said he was happy and good out riding motorcycles because he didnt have to cut. Said he would be cranky as hell if he had to cut and would hate the media day stuff.

Conor was not the first to get wins in 3 different weight classes, and they way dana kept claiming it to be a 155 fight with no cut, it wasnt a legit 170 fight.

khabib beats nate so easy at any weight it not even funny.

Khabib is scared of 170, doubt he would even sign a fight vs 170lbs Cerrone.
He'd rather drain himself to 155lbs. He's outright stated he can't fight against bigger guys. That should immediately disqualify a fighter form being p4p #1 when there are fighters that have 0 problems going up in weight.

Khabib wants to keep his size and strength advantage. Thats why he kills himself every weight cut to say in a devision he can dominate with size and weight advantage.
He would get smeshed at 170 and tossed around like a bitch play thing.
Let him stay in his lane doing his impression of a gravity blanket.
Thats why he has the lowest paying fan base out of all the top fighters.

Idk
He beat him already but thinks every day about him.
I guess he'd have rather settled it in a hot tub, good old fashionned way

yes, I mean it's not like the buzz surrounding the sport ever reaches him, or pressure from Dana & co have anything to do with Khabib "thinking" about Conor every day.

spot on.

Newsflash. Conrad moved up. Did khaleed. Ummm nope.

Conor moved up ... but never fought top opponents. His fame came from moving down to clean up Featherweight division. Even he said he was fighting midgets.

Conor has never fought a true WW.

He fought two LW’s @ WW and they didn’t have to cut much.

Now had he fought NICK instead of Nate, And maybe Wonderboy instead of Cerrone we’d have more to talk about.

Beating Cerrone at 170 is better than 155 lol

No, no it's not. Cerrone is top 10 at 155, he's not even top 15 at 170. So I'm pretty sure being ranked vs not at all means you're better at the ranked weightclass...

And Cerrone doesn't struggle to make 155, he's never missed weight in his career.

Cerrone was on an impressive 3 fight win streak before Tony. Tony beat him badly but didn't ko him. Gathje then legit ko'd him. Conor faced him whilst he was on a 2 loss skid in a weightclass where punching power makes a bigger difference, then bumrushed him and ko'd him. Sorry but Conor did not face a legit contender you fool. Think about what you're saying next time

<DisgustingHHH>
Once a contender, always a contender! - Conor fans, apparently.

I will agree that it is dumb to try and mock anyone for moving up in weight...but moving up does not necessarily imply bigger challenges. Look no further than GSP, DC, and Cejudo as fairly recent examples. Greater challenges lay in the lower divisions compared to the fights they had when they first moved up.

Consider that Conor's legacy also includes zero title defenses, zero rematches (except after losing to Nate), not cleaning out 145, and being gifted a LW title shot that he did not even remotely deserve.

Consider too that 28-0 Khabib (who stopped Conor), is slated to fight the clear #1 contender who is riding a 12-fight win streak...while Conor just avoided a weight cut and fought a guy who got ruined in his last two fights, and is once again seeing a gifted path laid out for him with a bullshit ranking above Justin and Dana claiming the Khabib/Tony winner is next for him.

Tell us some more about Conor's 'legacy' compared to that of Khabib though.

Conor has done a LOT...but he has also chosen to sacrifice a good chunk of legacy in favour of pursuing money and fame (and who can blame him? but that *is* the tradeoff so far), and he has been gifted a path like no one else.

He is giving him shit because he is using that to make the easiest path to a title shot that its possible to make. He might as well have Dana tuck him into bed every night.
He needs to fight someone with a fuckin pulse in his next fight, and theres no fuckin excuse for it to be at 170 when both guys can fight at 155.

Conor has not fought at 170.

Sorry but washed up nate and cowboy don't count.

He looked like a holocaust victim at 145.

So yeah, Conor is a LW fighter, and in that weight class in the UFC he is 2-2.

Wopade-fucking-do.

he does, and whats funny is khabib got a shot by beating Michael Johnson and Edson barboza.
and won the belt beating the real estate guy.

he has no room to talk shit other than beating conor. he should stick to that

he is starting to look desperate like masvidal.

the ufc conor khabib drama is hilarious
Yeah and Conor got a ts for beating denis siver....Also Khabib is undefeated still and has defended the belt twice(something Conor has never done), he has plenty of room to talk shit. Dustin and Tony actually earned their shots at the belt. Please tell me, what has Conor done to earn a 3rd shot at 155?
I wouldn't say hilarious, it's exhausting having to talk to idiots all the time

Beating Cerrone at 170 is better than 155 lol
Cerrone struggles to make 155 and beat some good people at welterweight, he had a close fight with the former ww champ

No it's not. Most of Cerrone's losses came at 170, he is not a welterweight, he even said that not cutting weight made him lazy.
Conor only moved up to face fellow lightweights, not much of a challenge.

The better question is: why is Khabib tweeting about Conor when he's got El Cucuy in a few months?

Do you really think that Khabib is the one running his account?

Cerrone's losses at 170 were to wws.. that doesn't mean he is not a bigger threat for Conor at WW
Saying fighting at WW is at Cerrone's advantage doesn't mean Cerrone should fight at WW.. WW are much bigger and stronger

Khabib doesn't need to keep moving up and down because he doesn't keep losing
Mcgregor never losed in 145 and dominated that division and he still had the balls to move two divisions above 145. Khabib on the other hand wants to play it safe
