I mean really, the first fight was not close at all. Jimi put tips all over that boy, and wrecked him standing. I don't think blachDAQO DS can take him down, and he's not beating him on the feet. Why dey do dis?

There is a great article on ESPN.com explaining why. Of course, I can’t find it now, but cliffs include:
-he’s called out a bunch of people and everyone has turned him down.
-he’s teammates with Latiffi and Gus so he will try to avoid those fights (plus he’s already fought Gus).
-the division is weak as hell and there are also a lot of fighters who rarely fight.
-he’s taking this fight to stay busy and make money for his family.
-props to Blachowicz for even taking the fight.
