How can this be? He's 0-3 though?

Its not like Alex lost the first, but had a friendly ref
Alex didn't get comprehensively destroyed in the 2nd, and then saved by a hometown ref - no that didn't happen at all

And in the 3rd, Alex didn't barely get out of round 1. Turn into a panic wrestler in rounds 2 & 3, be down 3 rounds to 1. And then finally land his shot round 5. No it didn't go down like that my room temp IQ shertards, Alex's plan was to coast the WHOLE fight and then win round 5!

Bizzarre, its almost like anyone who isn't a braindead shertarder, can objectively watch the last 3 outings and determine who's more likely to win the 4th. Where as most of this forum is obsessed with the result only, as if actual analysis (even basic analysis) of the fight, is beyond their IQ range. Surely not.....

Let me answer your question with a question.

Did you see Black Beast v Volkov? When Volkov was winning 14 minutes out of 15 and then lost? Who would you have favored in a rematch?

Same with Overeem v Rozenstruik.

Point is, Izzy was winning for most of the fight before he got caught, so I'm thinking the bookies believe people will favor him for that reason.

And hey, you're being a bit emotional here, friend. With your whole "anyone who isn't a braindead shertarder, can objectively watch the last 3 outings and determine who's more likely to win the 4th" bit. We aren't talking about shertards; we're talking about bookies who set the line and then gamblers who move the line.

As the Canadians might say, "figure it out".

Well he was winning the fight (until he got knocked out ha ha). Weidman was the outsider in the Silva rematch, I won money on that.

Its cause Izzy has been so successful in the ufc.

Clearly, you didn't watch the third fight. Izzy was the one who turned into the panic wrestler, because he was getting pieced up on the feet.

Just think how much harder Alex hits then Romero, Kevin, Whitaker

I don't think Izzy can handle the power .. even Jan couldn't rock him

Who exactly are you arguing against here? Izzy is the favorite...and you're arguing he should be the favorite?

Cool thread bro

Because Vegas is way stupider than the betting public and wants to give money away to astute Sherdoggers.

He won every round in the fight until he got caught and he almost put him away in the first round. He's clearly the better fighter but Alex has a puncher's chance in any round. Odds wise, Izzy is the safer bet. It's a close line which is fair.

It's the betting public that is favoring Israel and driving the line, bookmakers don't try to predict who wins they keep changing the odds until they have equal equity on both sides so they win either way.
