Why is Greg Jackson cornering Arlovski against Overeem?

I guess because Arlovski has been there longer. I've actually heard from multiple fighters and people that Arlovski isn't that affable a guy so highly doubt it's anything to do with liking or disliking someone more.

he likes him more than Overeem

I remember Arlovski talking about their relationship in an episode of embedded :

" This Saturday, former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will faceStipe Miocic at UFC 195 and could emerge as the next challenger for the UFC title.

In the first episode of UFC 195 Embedded, the 36-year old Belarusian went for a walk through the snowy landscape of his adopted new home of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was there where he recalled how he made it this far again, after facing retirement only four years ago. It was around the time that Greg Jackson invited him to his camp, when almost everyone else thought he was finished.

"Greg Jackson, he gave me hope you know," Arlovski said. "He told me listen, you're absolutely not done yet. You have a lot of work to do. If you want to start everything from the beginning, just come to Albuquerque. Come to my clinic. He's a very smart guy and he's a very educated coach, and I enjoy working with him."

Maybe Andrei needs more help than Reem? Or maybe he'll have others from the camp cornering Reem anyway.

really?
alot of people say that about reem too

Am I a bad person when I laughed out loud watching that gif?
Nah, no problem. There's a full video of that, she didn't get hurt, she was all giggling and it was like the third kick and she kept asking Reem to hit harder.

Doesn't matter whos coaching who,

This is the battle of the chinless, first one to get a clean shot will win by KO.

Incoming double KO.

in ufc undisputed 3 I;ve had it where me and my opponent hit each other at the same time. He got knocked out and I got rocked. Would be hilarious to see something like that here.

It will be interesting, Greg Jackson is the master coach of MMA and he will know Alistair's weaknesses and how best to beat him. He's going to be using Andrei to showcase to the rest of the world the best way to beat him. It could be the unravelling of Reem if he loses.

Will he encourage Andrei to blast him when he's pressed up against the fence like all the noobs bemoaned Dos Santos for not doing. It will be interesting.

I think the fact that AO is ok with this cornering situation shows that he is pretty confident in his chances versus Arlovski. This is a guy that used to put a curtain up at Blackzillians because he thought somebody there might tell his opponent at another camp what he was working on. It seems out of character that he would let his coaches (who have reshaped his game the last 4 fights) corner his opponent. They probably know his game quite well. He must really think he matches up REALLY well with AA to accept this. It just seems like a situation that could lead to him leaving Jackson Wink - especially if he loses this fight.
