Am i missing something? Did Dana said that Alvarez vs Khabib would be the Main Event? Can`t find that anywhere, only him saying that it would be Khabib who would get a titleshot.

Conor can still headline the card against Aldo, the question is that does he really want to go down and fight at 145? It this whole Khabib thing is pretty much certain he has to defend the belt or be stripped. The point remains, he can headline the card against Aldo, right?

honestly they should let him heal up and headline a card after so they can cash in on two events

Honestly, I would rather not see him fight Aldo again. Conor is deep in Aldo's head. He's going to get slept again.

Because Conor making 145 with only 6 weeks notice is highly unlikely. Even when he fought at 145 the cut looked like it was going to kill him, since then he's added muscle. He'd likely need a couple months to lose his new gained muscle and get back to where he was when he fought at 145, if that's even possible.

Only way it could happen is if he knew the whole time he was fighting aldo and has been managing his weight accordingly.

This, people act like the fight was official and then Conor got publicly shamed and banned.

Yup, Conor is medically suspended until at least 20th October. We don't even know yet if he will be cleared to fight.

"Mr. Honesty" himself tweeted that the Conor rumors were false & that Khabib vs. Alvarez was on.

Many of our esteemed Sherbroz are taking that to mean that it is a fact. Very strange given "Mr. Honesty'z" track record for saying one thing & then doing another.

I would assume that the Alvarez fight was cued up next, but it's maybe the condition of Conor's foot that is holding things back.

Then again, you gotta think that all the dealz are done & the fighters know about it & are sworn to secrecy. Like, maybe the company is creating a media tension by not revealing it. We are discussing the matter right now... so mission accomplished.

When did they say he was on it?

Well, now they have to negociate the fight with Aldo.

That`s a good point, didn`t think about it. Damn he is fucked lmao

Conor was walking on crutches 4 weeks ago... you think he could heal that fast to be able to get in to a training camp for a title shot?
I'm not sure how long it normally takes to heal but I think it would take a few.

Maybe there is no struggle about the FW belt, maybe he just isn't ready.

I hope Dana White is lying and it really is Conor vs Alvarez. This rematch is lackluster for such a significant card.
