I like Volkan. That's the first time I rewatched the Cirkunov fight and I was impressed with what he was doing to Cirkunov before Cirkunov tried to blitz him.

Volkan is legit. I don't know if he can get it done against Manuwa but make no mistake, Volkan will end up beating a lot of fighters. They brought him in to be a sacrifice against OSP to get OSP back on track and he beat OSP so they gave him Cirk, who is a killer, and he KO'ed Cirk, so now they are giving him Manuwa. Talk about a rough welcome to the UFC, OSP, Cirk, and Manuwa for his first 3 fights.

Some guys just have that weird power. For one thing it hit him in the ear hole which is how Serra TKO'ed GSP. Volkan has done that a lot though, 14 wins, 10 KO's. His only loss is by submission so Manuwa is going to have to knock Volkan out but striking is what Volkan excels at.

On another note, I just checked the guys record and I noticed he had 2 fights in Bellator. One tko win and a submission loss.

Why couldn't Bellator invest in that guy and groom him to be a star, or at least a contender?

Bellator won't get far if there business model is to get sell tickets with UFC cast offs.
