Why is Cejudo so underrated?

Olympic Gold Medalist, 125Lb king, he is Henry Cejudo.

125 pound king? You're pushing it a little far there. Many of us don't think he should even be champion right now.

Too many decisions, hasn't fought many top names.

Underrated? He is OVERRATED as fuck, this is what he is. Snake will KTFO him easily.

He’s small and wrong shade of Mexican

Too bad for you and the rest of the dnbs you ride with, your opinions dont really matter.

The mighty mouse win was controversial and he has yet to do something really impressive. If he beats TJ and does good press then they can promote him as a star in the media.

It's part of the issue.

Being 125 and having a debatable win that puts him into the p4p conversation is a topic nobody wants to touch until we see more.
I also think MM won the fight. Could have gone either way, but not enough to defeat a champ.

Doesn't have lengthy HL reel of him wrecking opponents?

He is 3-2 in his past 5 fights...

your point? he still debatably beat the best guy on the planet, and not by fluke, went toe to toe for five rounds with the p4p king enough that 2/3 judges thought he won, stay salty

He competed in the most unpopular division in the sport, which was dominated by a very unpopular MM.

Consistantly fighting the best at 125 to a standstill he lost a split decision to Benavidez too. In a division where you don't finish that often these things can go either way when the best fight.

KO'd stiff?

You obviously never watched the fight.

That was a horrible stoppage, TJ was no near "ko'd stiff".

the man is a glass jaw

interesting prediction
Lost some money for sure, but I still think he is, nothing changed. Good for him, congrats, but on the next the luck will not be there, like JDS vs Cain and Cormier vs Stipe - if Cormier stops being a coward and gives Stipe a rematch. Wait and see.

Very understandable, given his career, that fans had to wait for him to prove himself before they recognized him.
He started with 4 UFC wins then lost two in a row.

Beating Reis and Pettis wasn't enough to prove that he had developed.

He basically had to get two more wins to prove that he was a force to be reckoned with.

First fight with DJ. So many people think a fighter can never improve.
