Why I think Conor McGregor is probably overrated.

Yeah, he should be so ashamed for losing to the #5 (maybe #6) ranked LW in the world at 170. His wins over Aldo, Mendes, Poirier, Eddie and Nate in the rematch means nothing. Just ignore all of his other fights that he won so easily because he lost one to a top LW, one of the toughest dudes in MMA history.. what a bum that Conor guy is, right?

Anderson losing to guys like Chonan and Takase is fine though. Losing to them is better than losing to a top 5 LW, that's for sure. Stylistically, Nate is simply just a tough matchup for him. There's a couple specific things that make him a nightmare for Conor. I bet you can't even say what those things are either, can you? Let's just say Conor is no good because losing to Nate Diaz? What a bum!!

Anderson lost to Takase but Conor lost to some guy without a wiki page forget what his name was tapped to a knee bar all i know. alot of guys lose fights when they are 19-23 years old fighting seasoned guys.

yes. Nate didn't fight a smart fight down the stretch wasted time in the clinch instead of pummeling a gassed out mcgregor. Conor looked amazing in the firs 7 minutes. Battled hard in round 4 and 5 actually to his credit. I agreed with the decision

Conor was the 12th man to beat Nate Diaz so its revenge but not a huge deal if you look at it with clear eyes

Conor's recent wins
Eddie- Got dominated by cowboy, beaten twice by Chandler imo, barely squeaked by pettis and Melendez
Nate- Colin was saved by the bell in round 3., nate was dominated by Bendo and pre usada RDA
Aldo- Barely squeaked by Mendes in there 2nd fi. was coming off 1+ year layoff, recently got finished by Holloway

Mendes- Chad took a wrestlers chance for a big paycheck on 2 weeks notice. he isn't a diaz, no way was he in shape for that fight, That was also one of Mendes first fights under Usada and his slow style played into conors hands. still he gave conor a hell of a fight despite all of that.

Siver- Ugh a gatekeeper, tough roided guy. has lost to numerous hohum ufc fighters.
Poirier- His win resume is mostly b's and c's. has been defeated by swanson jung and Johnson.
Holloway- Max was so so youngster. a completely different fighter without fucking question.
Brimage- a natural BW who is a can

Didn't really beat any notable fighters pre ufc. only real challenging fight was when he was literally raped by Joe Duffy, albeit a long ass time ago.

Your excuses for for Mendes are pathetic. He was on mad roids, had a style that could pose problems to Mcgregor (especially on short notice) and he was the #1 contender in the division. Biggest fight in the history of the division, he was the #1 contender and wasn't prepared in case one of them pulled out? Aldo pulls out of every other fight. There's always the possibilty that if Mcgregor was training for Mendes he wouldn't have even gotten taken down.

On a sidenote, Mendes said it himself that he was in good shape and practically always is. It's very easy to create a one-sided argument, and that's exactly what TS is doing here.

I never said or implied that only champions are top tier. Stop arguing against a straw man. Holloway was not top tier when he fought McGregor. He was a nobody.

Anderson fought many top tier fighters during his reign In addition to Franklin, how about Dan Henderson, Sonnen, Okami, Maia, Griffin.
