The average age of a top 20 Heavyweight is 36 years old..wth

Where are the young Heavyweights at?

It takes years to develop the kind of length and girth needed to be on top as a HW...

and you don't want to be a bottom to these guys

it takes years to develop MMA skills

21 year old Heavyweight fighters in the local circuit would get mauled by those older fighters you listed

I kinda semi buy into the idea that the young big guys are getting paid 10x to play football.

Cole Konrad was a young fella that was tearing shit up and prolly would have never lost a fight but he retired.

Because they are trying to make it in good paying sports and MMA is the last resort.

This just speak a lot about the "new breed" of heavyweights 25% of that list are classic pride fighters, and a lot of vintage UFC fighters too.

Football and Basketball

Which I think is part of the problem, HW arguably moreso than any other division depended on European and Brazilian talent during its golden years and those talent bases generally are in decline in the modern era.

**USADA era

Sometimes people just aren’t that big and don’t reach their physical prime untill later. Guys usually fill out as they age. This could be a factor.

studies show even stupid tall people become Vice Presidents of Sales and that type of shit.

also nfl, nba and even NHL.

The best athletes in America are playing football and basketball in their youth. So instead of being a dominant heavyweight at 25-30yrs who has trained mma since 10 we are getting dominant HW’s at 35-40yrs bc they quit their first sport at 18-20 and then took up mma training

There are many people who says this but if you think about it this doesn't make any sense.

Less than 1% of the Athletes actually secures a contract with NFL (and rest of all pro sports)

The guys who couldn't make the cut can easily transition to MMA if they could but they mostly can't because being athletic doesn't mean you will become a great fighter.

Less than 1% of those athletes makes it into pro football or basketball. In short this is a fallacy.

<TrumpWrong1>

There are a lot of HW wrestlers that aren't fighting in MMA or already retired (Cole Konrad). They aren't suddenly getting in basketball and football instead, retard.
{<huh}

Holy shit you're a fucking idiot

"HW wrestlers", I'm talking strictly about MMA you illiterate autist. Just because you were/are a good HW wrestler doesn't mean you'll automatically have an interest in MMA, retard.

Also if you weren't stupid you would understand that with Football and Basketball (2 sports where being bigger is an advantage) being two of the most popular sports in America it will obviously decrease the amount of talent in Heavyweight MMA. Retard
