Why don't the UFC just move everyone up one weight class to fix weight cutting?

Scottish guy died, Rufus guy died, Conor's teammate or opponent died

All recently

It would stop most guys cutting huge amounts.

Bisping brought this idea up in his podcast.

they're adults they can cut as much weight as they want they know the risks

?

They cut 15ish pounds, move em up, they'll be fighting at healthier weights.

Bisping brought this idea up in his podcast. Nothing would change except better fights.
This would absolutely never happen and you even bringing this subject up is crazy.

So fighters no longer determine where they will fight the UFC does? Would have been fun back when Edgar was LW champ to force him to 170.

How is it that nobody is addressing the utterly shit grammar? "Why don't..."

i will admit,

as silly as it sounds,

if it happened as you describe its better than most other weight cutting solutions sound.

Because they would be cutting down in their new class.

Are you a coal miner living on Obamacare who voted for Trump and has no idea about consequences?

It's the easiest.

Any other solution requires monitoring and multiple checks on the fighter, and we all know the ufc is too cheap to pay for shit that might help the fighters health in the long run.

Nothing would change, the average viewer would watch the same fights, without the fighters gassing and being chinny and pulling out or dying.

For starters it is not up to the UFC what weight class a fighter competes at.
