When there are trash cards or BS fights, why don’t fans boycott? Take the power away from the UFC and put it in the hands of fans. I mean I’m sure coordinating a boycott would be difficult but it’s possible. Jones vs Stipe should be boycotted 100%.

And yet it's probably going to be one of the highest performing events of the year if not the most performing. Truth is even if the fight doesn't make too much sense, people will for sure still tune it for it and Dana knows this.

The sum Disney is paying the UFC sum makes every event a financial success if not one person bought a ticket or PPV. Do you think the UFC would ever have events in the Apex if they gave one shit about ticket sales?

Not that boycotts would be wildly effective the UFCs main customer is the very people that people would want to protest the UFC for appealing to. In capitalism people who don't care make the world go round. People who do are viewed as a nuisance.

Not only will fans not boycott this event, they will sell out MSG and it will do big numbers on PPV. Most mma fans dont care about this stuff, the ones that attend events and buy the fights, their not invested into the politics.

The majority of "fans" de facto boycott the UFC by never actually paying for anything. The UFC makes almost all its money from the casuals with extra cash who actually pay $80 for the PPVs.

None of us pay, anyway. The fact the hardcores don't pay is why they don't make cards/fights/moves with us in mind, and cater to the casual fanbase. We also make up such a small section of the overall fanbase, that, if we did pay and boycotted a card, the UFC wouldn't really feel it, bc Johnny and his frat brothers at SMU are still gonna buy the card, BWW is still gonna buy the card, etc.

Suredawggers don't pay for shit, yet complain more than anyone. Plenty of casuals are going to order this card while you guys "boycott" like you always do. Even more so, the "boycott" means nothing with live gate and ESPN footing the bill for this event.

I haven't been in the vicinity of a paid for event since my rich friend moved away in 2010. I'm such a casual now, if streaming was a hassle I just wouldn't watch.

You know that in Europe we can just turn the TV on and get every mma event (UFC included) without paying anything except the monthly TV/internet fee?

At ungodly hours of the night, though. Alaska time is the best. Main card starts at 6 and ends at 9, 10 at the very latest.

No it won't. They'll probably lose money at the gate because the production cost was so high for the Sphere and it's an O'Malley headliner with a shit card so the PPVs are going to suck. So..highest performing? No, not possible.
Not possible???
Did you even read the post you quoted???

The post you quoted & the one it was replying to were specifically referring to Jones v. Miocic.

So, you write a diatribe about tonight's card & declare the poster's assertion is "not possible "???
