It's a legacy fight, ofc, but does it stop being a legacy fight if it's outside of the UFC?

Contracts
Khabib could arguably get away with it as he can hide in Russia and the Middle East but GSP would eventually return to North America
Once that happens it’s law suit city baby

He can and he will.
Moscow, probably.
Let's watch Dana go to Moscow and stop it.
Hahaha!

They should play backgammon instead

In your FACE contracts

They are both signed to the UFC. Its not not simple. They would be sued and any company that promoted the fight.
You can't just retire either and hen just fight somewhere else. Still under contract with the UFC

Why don't they just fight in the parking lot?

I would pay to see them grapple one another, think we can all get a good idea of who would win from that exchange

For all we know it could have already happened underground when GSP made a trip to Russia.

So they can fight in some podunk Russian organization where nobody will watch? No main stream fight org will touch that with a 10 foot pole.

But it's a legacy fight!
