...with his back foot?

Is it a riddum thing or is he faking a kick by raising his back leg? I like it.

I assumed he had some sort of injury that was bothering him and it was just an involuntary habit.

Does he do it every fight or just the last one against Yoel?

Probably feet wet/sweaty and slippery and wanted to wipe it

Edit: sorry read it wrong, thought you were talking about him touching his thigh with his foot

I bet he has or had some kind of injury with his foot or knee and it makes it feel better somehow. Probably just a bad habit now.

I thought it was just some weird kind of feint game he was setting up haha.

Either it's a weird quirk he has when he's getting into his groove, or more likely it's a microadjustment he's making to help with some niggling injury.

I noticed it too, he did it a LOT. To the point where I feared for his ability to defend a takedown if Yoel timed him on one leg.

Due to instability after an ACL issue, I kick inward all the time to crack or relieve the pressure, don't even know I'm doing it most of the time because it's so routine. On a particularly stiff morning, I even kicked myself in the dick once cuz I was groggy enough not to remember morning wood was a thing

Kick yourself in the dick...must suck! I constantly step on my dick...cause its huge #aimIright?

Nope, didn't happen.

i thought it was a tribute to Kickboxer and he was telling Romero he was gonna KO him with a left kick.

100%

I normally lift my knee then quickly turn it outward and try to swing my heel back towards my other knee and that's usually enough to elicit a pop. When that doesn't work, I'll either try swinging my heel in more of a curve or higher. Woke up to take a piss and the knee wouldn't shake out, so I just went much higher and clipped the tip

Probably a feint thing. I do the exact same thing when I'm sparring. It's just another feint to throw out there to mix your opponent up.

It seemed like he was wiping the bottom of his feet off, but then I noticed it was only one foot. I think it’s a tick.
