Is it because Chandler is the champion and can't come over to ufc?
seriously Chandler > Alvarez...he finished him ffs.

sherdog where no one understand what the fuck a contract is
Eddie is a much bigger name and has been talked about as an elite level LW for years. That loss hurt him a lot less than I thought it would. Coming back and annihilating Aoki certainly didnt hurt either. And obviously the contract issue.
Whats crazy is Bellator fucked up and made Eddie a bigger star and a higher paid fighter even though he lost.
Chandler is a young, marketable, unbeaten fighter who just took out Eddie for the title in a FOTY type fight.
What does Bellator do? They give him one fight in 2012 vs Gono in a pointless super fight. What do they do for Eddie? They give him a top 5 Aoki and Pitbull. They let him get two wins, build his profile up again and now he gets paid a big contract by either the UFC or Bellator, meanwhile Chandler sits on the shelf and fights one pointless fight in 2012.
Had they not be stuck in that format they could have done Chandler/Aoki, Chandler smashes him and all of a sudden he has 2 wins in a row vs top 5/10 opponents and his stock is at an all time high as they move to Spike.
Its clear they cared more about the guy who lost than the guy who won.
sherdog where no one understand what the **** a contract is
It's all about hurting the competition. Eddie isn't a title contender in UFC, but his name is valuable to Bellator, so the UFC wants it.

Because Eddie is a free agent and Chandler isn't. Seriously, people are stupid.
