I was a big fan of boxing and then lost interest some years ago.
but for real it would have people call for more weightclasses. mma doesnt need more imo
How would that be fun?
Because they don't do weigh ins right before coming out to fight. The "tonight" weight is not an official weight, its just what that particular fighters camp is claiming
More solid information = more fun.
Throws out excuses and silly ignorant guesswork.
I'd be interested to know the info
I know that GSP is like 190 on fight night. How come I'm not having more fun watching his fights?
So when do boxers weigh in on fight day?
An odd argument.
Might as well say "I know he
This ... would be real interesting to see who really are the "big" guys in every division that can easily go up if they wanted too.
.... like GSP.
I've been thinking the same thing for years. That way you can really see who's cutting the most and who has the real weight advantage. It shows the reach and height so why not the weight?
they show reach advantages on the tape. why dont they show the weight advantage?
I assume so people do not discredit the clearly heavier fighter. It would be easy to claim a 5 pound+ weight advantage discredits a win.
But it is not like Joe & Goldie don't discuss it
The UFC does not think their fans are as intelligent as boxing fans and does not want to confuse them.
I wish they did too TS.
