Why does the broad concept of "A Level Athletes" bother MMA fans so much?

That sport that has 30 second bursts of play followed by 5 minutes rest. A+ level athletes fo sho.

So the best athletes are marathon runners then? Right? I figure athleticism has more to do with explosiveness and strength. How does the NBA stack up then?

One must also remember, almost every professional athlete is on substances illegal in mma.

If any of you all really think nfl players get that strong without PEDs, you’re iq might be boximg fan level.

It's literally just saying some people are more athletic than others
And then people wonder if people who are super athletic would be good at MMA, where it obviously helps like all sports to be physically gifted, if they were introduced to it at a young age

Its sport specific. Ask Michael Jordan how that works wrt baseball and basketball. Or for that matter, any number of great basketball, football, baseball and hockey players wrt golf ... which so many try to play with minimal success.
