Why Does Sherdog Not Allow Alt Codes?

So I have been wanting to use the Triforce on Sherdog and it seems that you can't. I can use it on all sorts of other forums, but not here. I know I am using the right codes but it seems that Sherdog does not like ALT codes, why is that?
