He recently attacked Oscar De La Hoya about not knowing the names of the fighters fighters. Well Dana is not so knowledgeable himself. In the recent interviews he said two things:
    1. Whitaker hits harder than Gastelum. Thats bullocks. Gastelum is the much heaver hitter in this case, its not even comparable.
    2. He thinks Jones vs Israel is a good fight. That fight is such a mismatch! While Israel's standup game is great, far ahead of Jones's, Jones will have none of it. Jones will just use his superior wrassling and grappling and dominate Israel on the ground. This fight is hitting the ground in the 1st and it stays there until 3rd where it ends brutally by TKO, Israel has no wrestling background. Not to mention Jones is at least 30 pounds heavier and stronger. Israel weighed at 183 pounds last weekend, he is not even a full blown MW, while Jones is by far the strongest, the biggest and the most developed LHW in the world and he pulses too. This MW doesn't stand a chance once the fight hits the ground and it will 1 minute going into the first.

These two remarks are from his last post fight interview yesterday only. Don't you think the promoter should know more about his fighters, especially cause he has a whole team of experts in the promotion who can teach him a thing or two? Its not good that we, the fans, should know more about his fighters than himself.

Gastelum has like 5 wins by TKO, he's not exactly what I'd call a heavy hitter. I'm not saying that Whitaker is any better. But you're making it sound like Gastelum's the MW version of Carwin and Robert's the MW version of Jon Fitch. Just based off their records, I'd say power wise the 2 are very comparable.

    Bullocks = cows
Bollocks = balls, also used to describe something that's untrue (bullshit).

Not that it's not great to see our friends from overseas using this delightful term.

I am not sure how wrong Dana is. I have always thought Whitaker hits pretty hard and probably harder than Gastelum. He TKO'ed Jacare, Brunson, Clint and Tavares. I think it can be said that they both hit pretty hard.

    "Dana doesn't know the fighters!"

    Presents two subjective statements.

Whittaker hits at least as hard as Gastelum, if not harder.

Just compare their fights against Jacare for a quick reference. How can you even spew bullshit like this
and expect people to take you seriously?

    Do you have any evidence?

And how is that not comparable? Theyre both professional fighters, same weightclass, Whitaker has actually more KO/TKO victories, and is a champion...

    WTF are you talking about?

    fuck im done...

It's hard to really say. The only fair thing to do would be to compare common opponents
and off the top of my head I can think of one. Jacare.

Gastelum struggled and his punches didn't seem to have a huge effect on jacare where as rob had him on bambi legs and was fucking him up.

As for this people moving around
Weightclaases to be double champs shit.the UFC needs to drop it . Its fucked fighters up. Tj , max etc.
    Its diminished their reputations.

Gastelum has more power in his jabs, and straight lefts. Whittaker has more power in his hooks

Kevin has the one punch KO power, Whitaker not so much. Kelvin KOd the MW champion in Ping with one punch. Kelvin also rearranged Israel's face. Israel will humiliate Whitaker when they meet in few months, if you are after a common opponent, then you'll witness it.

He took a big L from Dustin so he cant really hype Khabib Dustin fight since it's such a hard sell.

So he got to build up Isreal and Bobby Knuckles all he can.

I'm sure Dana knows perfectly well how the Jones fight would go lol.

I'm not a Dana fan, but I think this was intentional ignorance for promotion. Israel is fighting Whitaker next so he's making it look like it's going to be an even better fight than the Israel/Gastelum fight to sell it.

Even though Israel/Jones won't happen, ihe's putting their names out there together to feed off of their call outs to sell Israel's name to the casuals.

It may happen because Jones is out of opponents, they are bringing in MWs to fight him, cause the LHW has been empty for quite some time.

There are fighters from 60 countries in the UFC and what is it +600 fighters.
Maybe its kinda hard to keep up with each one of them?
