I'm pretty sure Nate didn't turn the fight down. He may have asked for more time or more money, but that isn't turning down the fight

They also like setting up fights without talking to people. Perfect example is Ronda and lil nog. Of course fighters turn it down sometimes.

dana actually enjoys throwing fighters under the bus

also there is a belief that the more more hype and controversy there is, the more money is generated

I think it is just a stand they take.
Nobody is safe and the company is paramount.

IMHO I don't like the approach, but for them and their own interests, this is the right decision.

The fighters are embarrassing themselves. UFC brass aint doing anything wrong

Tow the company line and it won't happen. Don't, and Uncle Dana tells it like he sees it.

They do it all the time. Offers a fight to a guy on THEIR conditions and if he's not happy with the conditions they go on twitter saying he refused to fight, makes it seem like he's scared to accept the fight.

Yeah, I've seen a few incidents of this happening, of course Glover and Jones is happening and is more than willing to have a crack a Jones, but initially Glover wasn't even told the fight was on.lol

Similar thing with Machida. Jones and Machida were schedule for a rematch when Machida wasn't even asked.lol

More incidents to follow of course.

I think it's all around unprofessional, Dana pretty much throws Nate under the bus which is a dick move, but right after that Nate calls Dana a "piece of shit", if i said that to my boss i'd be looking for a job right now. They are both in the wrong in my opinion.

Dana did a great job getting the ufc off the ground.
now i think it's time for a professional to take over.

1. Why? Leverage. If he can embarrass fighters, they may be less willing to turn down fights they don't like. Immature? Meh, probably, but I'm indifferent. Effective? He's got MJohnson and Varner scrambling to fight Khabib now, and everyone is talking about who Khabib should fight. Pretty easy promo for the guy.

2. You're pretty sure Nate didn't turn the fight down? Lol. Keep up with the facts. Nate was offered the fight. He didn't take it. He may not have turned it down because he was ducking Khabib, but he most certainly turned the fight down.

No he said Dana and the UFC were full of shit that he didn't turn down shit.

Media keeps asking him what he thinks and he keeps obliging them. One of them should stop.

It's unprofessional but it still follows their business model.

UFC brand name > Fighter Name.

Fall in line and don't cause problems or your name will be tarnished.
