Conor told Ariel that he currently weighs 160 and a bit which is easily under 170. If that is true why does he complain about cutting 6-7 pounds to hit 155? He said he hates the cut prior to the Khabib fight and wanted a 165 division.

Someone who barely weighs over 160 should have no problem with that cut.

    Smells like BS.

Well this thread is already derailed by the stupidity of you believing Conor McGregor weighs 160 lbs right now

He is not 160 thats why, he looks a lot more bulky than before especially around the shoulders. He has to cut weight to get too 170.. but I just know he will weigh in at 169 or 169.5 to prove a point and say see I told ya not 170

Because he has something to lose if he gets beat at 155. At 170, he has more than just the phantom injury excuse and it doesn't affect his LW ranking when he loses. He only fights at 155 if there's a strap involved.

Have you seen recent pics? He walks around at about 220 now, that would be hard for any man of that size to make LW again.

Because cutting weight = losing muscle and strength. He doesn’t want to cut weight for an easy fight like cowboy.

You can tell he’s building mass since khabib was so much stronger than him. Conor wants to build a solid strength base then do cardio to fight Khabib at 55.

Fighting and basically all sports is all about breaking down your body and then rebuilding it. This applies double to sports with weight classes

Because he doesn't weight 160. He just said he was so it would look more impressive when he beats another fighter that is "3 times his size". Or if he loses he will be able to use that as an excuse.

LMAO @ Conor saying Nate was 3x his size when he got tapped tf out. It all comes down to illusion, and making people believe he's a tiny man that can only lose to much bigger fighters.

You guys actually believe when fighters put their weights out there. My personal favorite was 166 Khabib aswell as 213 Jon Jones.

he probably just doesn’t feel like it unless a title is on the line, he definitely isn’t 160 though
