I was doing this a few weeks ago, looked over and a cop was staring at me through my window. $50 ticket.

I texted while driving when I first got a smartphone a long time ago. I looked up and noticed I was drifting well into an oncoming lane. So, that was the end of that. I won't ride with somebody who texts while the car is moving.

lol, believe it or not, some of us are aware of the extreme danger and have some self-control. It's just as stupid as driving drunk.

Im just sayin i see half the drivers on the road on their phone... But you are gonna sit here actin like sherdoggers are above this?

I've pulled over on highways to respond to more urgent texts.

How do you know its urgent?

I have a phone mount, so I can see who sent me a text. If it's one of my parents or my roommate, I'll check it while at a red light. Anyone else, and it gets ignored until I get where I'm going.
